Act/Job Title/Role in the Carnival: Isobel has adopted the moniker of The Far-Seeing Isabella, clairvoyant and fortune-teller. Depending on the client, she uses a variety of unnecessary props and offers advice and predictions based on the client's questions or worries.
She aims for an accuracy rate of about 75%, and will often wear a blindfold to conceal her blank eyes. No need to alarm anyone.
Isobel works in a small circular tent, once midnight blue but now faded to a more greyish tone, embroidered with gold stars. Inside is a round table covered with a red cloth, a chair for her and two stools for her clients. She usually burns incense and has a variety of completely unnecessary props including tarot cards, wooden runes and a crystal ball. There is a painted board outside the tent advertising her incredible clairvoyant power and noting that she is under no circumstances to be touched. Her tent is usually pitched fairly centrally within the Carnival.
